Filas to promote SIDEREUS at the 4th Annual INSME Meeting in Canton

Filas, a long-standing INSME member, will be in Canton, China from July 2-4, 2008 to promote SIDEREUS and participate in the 4th INSME Annual Meeting.

SIDEREUS, which will be held from November 26-28, 2008, aims to establish long-term business and technological co-operation agreements through a series of one-on-one matchmaking meetings between companies, research centres and other organisations operating in the aerospace and ICT sectors.

The INSME meeting, dedicated to “Encouraging SME Innovation and Growth: Increasing Capital Access”, is the perfect context for the SIDEREUS initiative which aims to foster increased international cooperation in terms of research and business opportunities for SMEs at one of the fastest growing global crossroads, that of the ICT and Aerospace sectors.

The Filas delegation to China will be lead by Michela Michilli, Head of the EU Initiatives and Programmes Unit, who will hold a special presentation on the objectives and unfolding potential of the SIDEREUS initiative, an Asia Invest project that involves regions fromthe EU, China, India and the ASEAN countries.

Following the SIDEREUS presentation, INSME will host its cocktail party at the Dong Fang (Oriental) Hotel.
