According to the Chinese Xinhua state-run news agency, China will launch its third manned space mission in September 2008.
Most importantly, the Shenzhou VII flight will feature the first space walk ever by Chinese astronauts, which will be broadcast live with cameras inside and outside the spacecraft.
The Shenzhou mission is set for a date in late September and will be launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the country's north-western Gansu province.
In 2003, China became one of three countries to send a human into orbit. The spacecraft will be launched.
