Filas at the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit 2008
A Filas delegation participated at the Satellite Navigation Summit 2008 held in Munich, Germany to present the many activities it conducts in the aerospace sector and in particular, in the context of the Galileo Programme and Project SIDEREUS.

As usual, the 2008 Satellite Navigation Summit presented a rich programme of conferences and workshops addressing the Galileo Programme, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) activities and new product and service announcements, in general, and a comprehensive review of international satellite initiatives and projects.

Commenting on the Galileo initiative at the Munich Summit, Paul Verhoef of the European Commission pointed out, once again, “European investment seems assured, but worldwide investment is also needed to make Galileo a success.”

And this is what SIDEREUS is working at: promoting international cooperation amongst SMEs and large industry to develop all downmarket aerospace and ICT-related technology with a special focus on Galileo-based satellite navigation applications.
